Department Medical Surgical Nursing
The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing deals with courses related to Adult health Nursing including Geriatrics within the framework of curriculum of Indian Nursing council. There is one Associate professor cum HOD and one Assistant Professor in this Dept. Two seats are allotted for M.Sc. Nursing in this Dept. Well equipped Advanced Nursing Practice Laboratory is there under this dept. with multipurpose Advance practice dummy. The clinical services of the department include clinical supervision of students, patient care, in-service education, conduction of awareness programme, clinical administration and research activities. The services are rendered in various areas of Tripura Medical College and Cancer Hospital. Post graduate students are sent other states in various speciality hospitals for their exposure training.
