Operation Theatre

The operation theatre had been designed to ensure sterility. All the routine Operation as well as the speciality operation is conducted with improved aseptic and antiseptic measures, with sophisticated equipments utilized by the surgeons.

  • There are 10 numbers of Operation Theatres which includes Surgery (02), Orthopaedics (02), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (02), Otorhinolaryngology (ENT- 01) and Ophthalmology (Eye - 01), Casualty (Major OT 1, Minor OT 1)
  • Operation Theatre complexes are well maintained, situated at Ground Floor(Casualty OT), First floor (Surgery, OBG, ENT, Eye) and Second floors (Orthopaedics)
  • There are patients waiting rooms, and recovery room
  • Optimum utilization of OT staffs including Nurses, technicians and attendants makes the working environment favourable
  • Other medical professionals are called for help in times of need.
  • Essential pharmaceutical storage, instruments and other equipments are well maintained by the in-charge OT nurse and staffs
  • Safer anaesthetic techniques are used during surgical procedures by the anaesthetics
  • Medical gases are available during the procedures. Storage of the gases are reserved as gas cylinder for at least one extra day use
  • Facilities for laboratory investigations, blood from Blood Bank in times of need are provided during operation
  • Fire safety measures are well maintained in OT
  • Waste disposal of the OT is well maintained by the cleaning staffs
